A Troublemaker's Handbook: How to Fight Back Where you Work, and Win!, by Jane Slaughter. The last stage of the spiral process is reflecting on your work and thinking about how to move forward. This book does that for the broad union reform movement. Would be great to collect activities built around this book, workshop plans, other materials. Every worker activist and educator should have and use this book.

"Connecting popular and community-based educators and activists to resources for improving educational work in social movements against oppression and for democracy, sustainability, social justice, and peace and building an information database about popular education resources one month at a time."

Reflects the practice of educators in Southern Africa. Lots of good material, pretty didactic -- less open-ended than Educating for a Change, say. See the review and order info on the Popular Education News site (linked here).

Takes the ideas and skills of the people who brought us Educating for a Change, and shows their use in the context of Canadian trade union education programs. Indispensable for union officers who want to develop education programs, not quite as useful for rank-and-filers who need education for reform and democracy.

My second favorite popular education manual. Great for both its tools and its thoughtful discussion of many challenges facing popular educators, this time in the context of Canadian labor and community movements. Very good material for facilitators.

Home of Tecnicas Participativas Para La Educacion Popular and many other materials. Tecnicas is the best resource book for popular educators I have found. It combines technique (lots of activities) with method and shows the importance of context, in this case social and political movements in Central America.

I haven't used this network, but it seems like a good idea.
